Spend the days in the magnificent forests - on foot, horseback or mountain bike. Experience the serenity of the nearby dams with excellent trout angling, or bass fishing and visit the local country club for a round of golf or a game of tennis or squash.
Extraordinary birdlife, including the Cape Parrot, clouds of butterflies and pristine grassland full of flowering plants all await you in Stutterheim.
The Croft Cottages are entirely self-contained, beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished. Each cottage sleeps up to five people in two bedrooms, one upstairs under the eaves; you will also find spacious living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms.
All cottages are fully equipped for self-catering with stove, fridge, bath or shower, linen, towels, crockery, kitchen utensils and outdoor furniture and cooking facilities. The cottages are serviced daily, and firewood and kindling are provided for the open fireplaces and braais. Specially tailored ramps for disabled access are available on request.
There is ample room for parking next to your own cottage, and The Croft is also a pet-friendly venue (we have provided accommodation for horses, dogs, cats and canaries). The forest and mountain walks are also only five minutes from your door.
